Session Information

I've decided I want RH Portrait Photography to take some beautiful portraits ... now what?

Initial contact and consultation

At our initial contact I will ask you a few questions about what kind of session you would like, where and when you would like to have your session, and just get some time getting to know each other.  At that time I will also ask if you would like to do an in person consultation or if over the phone is more preferable.  I love in person consultations, it gives us a chance to really get to know each other over a cup of coffee.  It also gives me an opportunity to really dig in to what you are envisioning for your portrait session.  At that time we will also try to nail down a good idea of the when and where of your session.

Your session

Roughly a week before your session I will be in touch with you to confirm all of the details.  I will also send you tips about how to prepare and let you know that I will be watching the weather closely.  In our neck of the woods the rain can be pretty persistant during certain times of the year.  This means we can sometimes need to be flexible about our times and dates.
The day of your session  we will meet at the location, have a quick consultation about what will happen,  and start taking your portraits!  Your session should take anywhere from 1-2 hours depending on the type of session (newborn sessions take longer), how many outfit changes you have, and if we go to more than one location.

After your session

We took some awesome portraits... now what happens? I will head to my office, take the photos and weed through to find the very best images, I will then send those to you via email in a proofing gallery and ask you to choose the ones you would like me to edit.  Once you get me that list and let me know you are ready, I will begin editing those images so that your final product is AMAZING.  Once I am finished I will send you a gallery of high resolution images, that is downloadable, and information on ordering prints.
